We are fee only asset managers and therefore do not receive any commissions for transactions. Our loyalty is to our clients, rather than to specific investment products. The result is financial advice that is completely independent and objective, based solely on the merits of the investment.
When dealing with clients, commissioned brokers are held to a lower “suitability standard” by the SEC, which only requires providing “reasonable” choices. At FMA Advisory, we act as fiduciaries for our clients. Acting as fiduciaries means that we uphold a higher professional standard, acting solely in our client’s best interest.
We have ongoing alliances with third-party corporate fiduciaries, so that we can offer complete trust and retirement plan services to our clients.
